Madonna Leaves Her Child Behind

Monday, October 16, 2006

Madonna tried to join the newest trend by adopting a young boy from Malawi, but she left Friday without bringing him with her. Children's rights group, The Eye Of The Child, said that it is seeking "clarification" from the High Court in Lilongwe, Malawi. Technically, Madonna can't adopt unless she had lived in Malawi for two years.

Spokesperson Boniface Mandere said: "I don't think that the High Court has any information about how Madonna is when it comes to child-rearing. We are concerned that the High Court has taken a short cut and waived the law. We are registering our concern and will seek clarification from the court, after which we will decide what action to take."

I still don't understand what the big deal is, just stop dragging this out. And what the hell is the "High Court in Ligongwe, Malawi?" And how do they have any power? I'm pretty sure it's a bunch of shadow warriors that have mud covering their genitals. They have such limited technology, you could probably walk in the country with a pair of socks and be considered the next Einstein. While I was watching football on Sunday, the town elders were making the kids throw spears at drawings on cave walls. Idiots.
