Brad Pitt And Leonardo Dicaprio Love Zombies
Thursday, June 15, 2006
Guardian is reporting that Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio found themselves head to head in their battle to obtain the film rights to a zombie horror book that will be published in the autumn. Following a lengthy bidding war, it was confirmed last night that Pitt's production company had come out on top.
Guardian goes on to say: "World War Z, an as-yet-unpublished novel by Max Brooks, had attracted the interest of both Pitt's company, Plan B, which is backed by Paramount Pictures, and DiCaprio's Appian Way production arm, based at rival studio Warner Brothers. The tale is set 10 years after an epidemic has turned the bulk of the planet into flesh-eating zombies. Brooks, a former writer at Saturday Night Live, had a cult hit with his 2003 novel, The Zombie Survival Guide."
I don't know why both of these guys love zombies, but something doesn't seem right. I do, however, spend a lot of my time sending zombies back to hell. I use the cross bow of destiny, which has baptized water on the tips of the points. The zombies go running from me like a nun after she gives me a hand job. Come on baby, you know you liked it.
