Yahoo is saying that Jessica Alba has been confirmed to host 2006 MTV Movie Awards, which will be filmed June 3 at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. She is also nominated for three awards: sexiest performance, best hero, and best on screen team.

Alba told the associated press: "It's always a crazy, fun show, and I can't wait to be right in the middle of the action."

I really don't know how this is going to work out. Hot girls are fun and exciting, but Alba has as much wit as a deaf child with down syndrome. Sure the kid can try hard and give it his best shot, but at the end of the day he just doesn't cut it. Sometimes the parents find overwhelming care to be the solution, while others throw clumped up pieces of mud at the kid. They both really have the same outcome.
