The Miami Herald is reporting that Chris Rock will not host the Oscar's this year. Even though Chris Rock is funny, they have decided he is too edgy for the older white men. The herald had this to say about his performance at the last Oscar's:






"Word is, Rock alienated some academy members when he hosted the award show because he mocked the very thesphood of such thespians as Tobey Maguire and Jude Law. An enraged Sean Penn stood up to defend Law, saying the Brit was ``one of our finest actors.''

Leave it to Sean Penn to ruin a perfectly good host for the Oscar's. Sean Penn is a lot like that kid in highschool who makes everyone stay after class because he can't keep his mouth shut. What do they think is going to happen if they hire Chris Rock. He is known for his offensive humor, and he even toned it down for them. Good thing Sean Penn is such a maverick that he stood up for his friends. Everybody knows Jude Law and Tobey Maguire can act. It's a joke for Christ sake. He is a comedian what do you expect him to do. Stand up there and teach long division during the awards?
