Friends Is Returning To NBC

Monday, January 23, 2006

Hollywood.com is saying that Friends is returning to television after each of its actors agreed to multi-million dollar deals to star in four one-hour specials. In a secret meeting before Christmas, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry agreed a $5 million each to come back to the show.

Aniston was the main one who was holding out on the deal doe a while, but it seems she has finally changed her mind. An NBC insider says:

"She's the one who had been holding out. But she's now agreed to reprise Rachel (Green). Bringing them back is a dream come true. Ratings will go through the roof."

I'm not impressed for two reasons. One: I hate this show and I usually start burning my wrists on the kitchen stove when it is on. Two: I doubt this has really happened. Hollywood.com is a semi-respectable news source, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
